These lions were amazingly tame. Even though there were no fewer than 15 vans with 3-6 people in each vehicle watching their every move, they didn’t appear to even notice. Masai Mara is an amazing place, just a little more “zoo-like” than I was expecting.

Minutes before this photo, I witnessed three of the white 50 kilo bags of grain on top of this rig topple from the roof and shatter the windshield. After three Ghanaians piled all the bags back on top, they continued on just as if nothing had happened. My hunch is this vehicle will soon become windowless once the driver gets tired of looking through the cracked windshield.
